Overview
DMdesign first infused the design world in 2007 when Siobhan Duggan and Susan McNamara, design graduates of the Limerick College of Art & Design & Cork Institute of Technology, joined forces. In 2008 DMdesign introduced a PR arm to the business. DMpr is run by Siobhán’s sister Christine.
Since then, DM have worked with a diverse client list ranging from the food industry, to government agencies, health and welfare, agriculture, marine, motor, gift, hospitality, the medical sector and beyond.
Outside office walls, Siobhán’s spare time is spent working with JCI (Junior Chamber International) Cork. JCI is a voluntary organisation that gives young people the opportunity to develop their leadership skills. She enjoys working on the worthwhile projects the organisation engages in that give back to the community. Siobhán is JCI Cork President for 2010. She is also a keen artist and enjoys painting when she finds the time!
Susan worked for a time in San Francisco and Dublin before settling in her native Cork where she met Siobhán while working for a design agency in Cork. This meeting sparked the beginning of a fantastically creative business which would become DMdesign. Susan’s passions aside from work and family are photography and getting involved with the local community to lend her design skills for charity events.
DM are active members of the Cork Chamber of Commerce and BNI.
